Together they did something beautiful in the biggest tear-jerker moment of the season. They both loved her and she meant a lot to both of them. It was a touching moment as the two stopped complaining who loved Poussey the most or who knew her longer or had the deepest connection. There are books hung from colored paper across the halls and the inmates flood the halls as Soso and Taystee hang Poussey’s favorite book, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Soso comes up with the idea to have all the inmates build a community library. 
They’re going to beautify the prison in Poussey’s honor. Sparked by a conversation with Piper, she decides to come up with a way to honor and pay tribute to Poussey.
Taystee doesn’t have time for that because she’s trying to lead a movement to get some justice for Poussey. She’s spiraling out of control and needs help, which comes from Cindy and Alison. Pennsatucky found her when she was passing out her yellow drink as part of her community service and Suzanne was sitting by herself but imagines her mommy and daddy are there for visitation.
The first six episodes of Orange is the New Black season 5 haven’t featured a lot of Suzanne but that changed with the seventh episode. Taystee and Piper work together to think of ways to honor Poussey and Cindy tries to get Suzanne under control when she begins to lose herself in episode 7 of Orange is the New Black season 5.
